Terms of Service

Welcome to VictoryView. By accessing or using our platform at app.victoryview.gg and any associated websites, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • "Service" refers to the VictoryView web application, API, and all related services operated by VictoryView.
  • "User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual or entity that creates an account or uses the Service.
  • "Organization" refers to an esports team, club, or entity that manages one or more rosters through VictoryView.
  • "Content" refers to data, statistics, text, images, and other materials displayed or processed through the Service.

2. Account Registration

To use VictoryView, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

VictoryView offers multiple subscription tiers, including a free plan. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree that:

  • Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis.
  • You authorize VictoryView to charge the payment method on file via Stripe.
  • Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice.
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided interfaces.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Share your account credentials or allow third parties to access your account.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service.

5. Riot Games API Data

VictoryView retrieves match and player data through the official Riot Games API. You acknowledge that:

  • Riot Games is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for VictoryView.
  • Match data availability depends on the Riot Games API and may be subject to delays, rate limits, or outages beyond our control.
  • You must comply with Riot Games' API Terms of Use when using data obtained through VictoryView.
  • VictoryView does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of data retrieved from the Riot Games API.

6. Organization & Team Management

If you create or manage an Organization on VictoryView, you are responsible for:

  • The actions of all members invited to your Organization.
  • Ensuring that staff roles (coaches, analysts, managers) are assigned appropriately.
  • The accuracy of the player data and Riot IDs added to your rosters.

VictoryView reserves the right to remove or suspend Organizations that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The VictoryView name, logo, and all associated branding are the property of VictoryView. The Service's design, code, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws.

Game data, champion names, item icons, and related League of Legends assets are the property of Riot Games, Inc. and are used in compliance with the Riot Games API Terms of Use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VictoryView shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data associated with your account may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in France.
